Use Pantry Bliss from Claude or ChatGPT

With the Household plan you can connect an AI assistant you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT, to Pantry Bliss. It can then see what's in your pantry, what's planned and who's eating, so you can ask "What can I make tonight with what's about to go off?" or "Plan dinners Monday to Thursday and put what I'm missing on the list."

Connect an assistant

  1. In your assistant, add a custom connector with the address pantrybliss.com/mcp. In Claude, it's under Settings › Connectors. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode in its settings first (paid plans).
  2. A Pantry Bliss page opens. Sign in the same way you do in the app: Apple, Google, an emailed code or your password.
  3. Choose the household to connect, and whether the assistant may also make changes, like adding to your shopping list or planning meals. Then tap Allow.

The assistant sees one household: its pantry, plan, shopping list, recipes and collections, and everyone's allergies and diets. It can't invite people, share recipes publicly, see billing or change your account. What it reads goes to the company that runs the assistant.

See what it's done, or disconnect

Go to Settings › Privacy › Connected assistants. You'll see which assistants are connected, who connected them and what they did recently. Tap Disconnect to stop one straight away. Changing your password or leaving a household disconnects them too.

Connecting an assistant is part of the Household plan. Asking it for new Pantry Bliss recipe ideas or to plan your week uses the same allowances as the app. Everything else, like reading your pantry or adding to your list, doesn't use any.
