Pantry Bliss works with Siri, so you can add to your list or check your pantry without opening the app. Every phrase includes "Pantry Bliss", so Siri knows which app you mean.
Add to your shopping list
- "Add milk to Pantry Bliss" or "Put eggs on my Pantry Bliss list" adds that item straight away. Siri knows your regulars, what's on your list and what's in your pantry, plus everyday groceries.
- "Add to my Pantry Bliss list" asks what to add. You can say a few things at once, like "eggs, milk and bread".
Items go on your household's main list, so everyone sees them. To use a different list, say its name, or pick it in the Shortcuts app.
Check what's expiring
- "What's expiring in Pantry Bliss?" or "What should I use up in Pantry Bliss?" Siri reads out what to use first.
- "Cook with what's expiring in Pantry Bliss" opens five ideas built around the food that's about to go off.
Start cooking
- "Cook spaghetti bolognese in Pantry Bliss", with the name of one of your recipes, opens it in cook mode, ready for hands-free.
- "Start cooking in Pantry Bliss" asks which recipe.
Shortcuts
All of these are in the Shortcuts app under Pantry Bliss. Add one to your Home Screen, the Action button or an automation, like adding your weekly staples every Sunday.
If Siri doesn't recognise a phrase, open Pantry Bliss once after installing or updating, then try again.
